Our battalion was in blocking position behind the line in position where a Chinese thrust would likely come in the Pork Chop Hill area. From left are the 1st Sgt., Captain Crawford Keith, Co. H CO, and Sgt. Sum Jun Do, of the Korean army. Jumbo, as we called him, was an excellent soldier and tough as a boot. His wife lived in Japan and he was not sure he could ever get back there.
