Wil C. Quick

Gift given by: Jo Quick of Milwaukee, WI in memory of her late husband. Wil was a WWII veteran with the 61st Signal Battalion. He re-enlisted in the Army in January, 1946 for three years. From April 1949 to August 1950, Wil was a platoon leader in E Company and G Company fothe 2nd battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. In Korea, he was assigned to a weapons platoon and later to the Pioneer and Ammunition Platoon. He served in Korea September 1950 to January 1951.

Anthony McNulty

Gift given by: Raymond Rautiala - Raymond sent $50.00 in memory of Korean War veteran Anthony McNulty to help sponsor The Korean War Educator. He wrote: "Enclosed is a small donation for a wonderful site. So many have forgotten the Korean War and the men who died and those that survived. My friend ANTHONY McNULTY, who lived at 1304 S. Elgin, Forest Park, IL, passed away on 12/31/01. He soldiered in the 24th Infantry Division, Fox Company, in Korea 1951-52. This is a way of remembrance that his family would like. Keep up the good work. I will try to send a monthly stipend."

Anthony's obituary reads in part: "Anthony Christopher McNulty, 73, native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, cherished brother of Bridget (John) Scott, Nina (the late John) Friel, Brendan, Rosemary McNulty, Margaret (John) Peterson and the late James, Henry, Mary, Joseph, Gerald, Imelda and Charles; beloved uncle of Patrick (Candace), Brendan (Roxanne) McNulty, Theresa Scott (Bob McHugh), Catherine (the late William) Walker, Rosemary Scott (Alan Gee), Patricia Scott (Jimmie) Albrecht and Sean (Mags) Friel; loving uncle and great-uncle to many in the USA, Ireland and England. He is also survived by many other devoted friends, especially Ray Rautiala and Kevin Coster."

Francis Edgemon

Born in 1931, PFC Francis M. Edgemon was a member of the 32nd Infantry Regiment of the 7th Infantry Division.  The Paseo County, Florida native was killed in action on Pork Chop Hill on July 08, 1953.

Lt. Frank L. Roach

Lt. Frank L. Roach, USNR, was a Navy Doctor who served at "Easy" Medical Company, First Marine Division in the field in Korea 1952-1953. Easy Med, located at the railhead at Munsan-Ni and close to Panmunjom, supported the First Marine Division at its eastern sector.  Frank was the Division Psychiatrist and was stationed with us. He treated the wounds--beyond the physical--of our Marines at Easy Med and was also called to consult at Able and Charlie Companies. His compassionate care, coupled with his professional skill, not only helped ease the pain of the wounded, but also elevated the morale of the corpsmen and doctors. When he was "off-duty" his concern was evident as he continued to bear the burdens of others. On discharge from the service he returned to his devoted wife, Fran, and family. He continued to serve his 'boys' as staff psychiatrist at the VA Hospital, Hines, Ilinois until his untimely death in 1986. He is at peace on his beloved Washington Island, Wisconsin.
