A Texas-based Korean War Website

The Korean War Project is our nation's first significant Korean War-only website.  Founded by Hal Barker and online since February 1995, the website is co-managed by Hal's brother, Ted.  The men are the sons of USMC veteran and Silver Star recipient Edward L. Barker.

The educational website has an extensive map collection, and it is an excellent resource for those seeking specific unit information or wishing to conduct a buddy search.  The site's visitors can learn about Agent Orange, as well as the government's efforts to identify the remains of Korean War missing in action.  The Korean War Project also lists veteran reunions, association information, Korean War memorials found throughout the USA, poems, and Korean War recollections.

The Korean War Project's URL is www.kwp.org.
